With sun-splashed days and balmy nights, Cape Coral is a natural as one of the largest master-planned communities in the nation.   Strategically located between Tampa and Miami, an inbreath of youth and vibrancy has turned Cape Coral into the fastest growing city in the Eastern United States. Cape Coral now boasts a thriving business sector as well as abundant educational, cultural and recreational opportunities.

Houses for sale in Cape Coral are conveniently located near boat ramps, athletic fields, playground equipment, exercise paths, in-line skating and the like.  The 140,000 residents enjoy Cape Coral homes for sale in neighborhoods with names like Camelot Isles, Cape Harbour, Cape Royal, Cornwallis, Eight Lakes, Four Mile Cove, Gold Coast, Heatherwood Lakes, Sandova and Tarpon Point West.  Executive estates at the Cape Coral Yacht Club and Coral Oaks Golf Course houses for sale make dreams come true.  Many look for investment property midst Lee County real estate.

Even without the clubs, there's a profusion of golf courses in this boater's paradise.  The city maintains Coral Oaks Golf Course which winds around stands of ancient oaks and shimmering azure lakes.  The happy yards of houses in Cape Coral blend with many of these magnificent courses.

Founded in 1970, this water wonderland has adapted beautifully to growing pains, resulting in low crime rates, an award for Most Drivable City, state-of-the-art fiber optics, a reverse-osmosis water system, and other advanced services.  Along with an affordable cost of living and no personal income tax, the good economic climate is enhanced by a pro-business attitude.  The area is ranked No. 3 on the Milken Institute's 2003 list of Best Performing Cities Where Jobs are Created.

Rent a yacht, canoe or kayak and see the town via water.  Or feel the sand squeeze between your toes on the beach:  Turner, Bowman, Tarpon Bay Road, Algiers, Lighthouse Park and Sanibel Causeway Beaches in Sanibel; Bunche Beach between Sanibel and Fort Myers Beach; Bowditch Point, Lynn Hall Memorial in Fort Myers; Bonita Beach, Delnor Wiggins Pass; beach-access points along Gulf Shore Boulevard in Naples; and the Marco Island Beaches.

Boaters access the extensive canal system and the Caloosahatchee River, which leads to the Gulf of Mexico, at Horton Park or Yacht Club Community Park, the MBMX Strausser boat ramp or the Burnt Store boat ramp.  The scenic Four Freedoms Park at Bimini Basin offers plenty of picnic area and a recreation center with classes in everything from gymnastics to yoga to aerobics, educational seminars, special events and camps.  There's a nature trail and boardwalk with an observation pier at Four Mile Cove Ecological Preserve leading through the alligator mangroves to the shell path, to the Iwo Jima Statue and Armed Services Memorial Flag Park.

One of the gems of the park system is the popular Yacht Club Community Park on the southeastern tip of the 115uare-miles of city, also offering a diversity of recreational and cultural opportunities.  Visit the fantastic native birds (238 species), animals (51 resident reptile and amphibian species and 32 mammal species) and the glorious vegetation at the Ding Darling National Wildlife Refuge.  With over 6,300 acres of wetlands, islands and mangrove forests, you will be quickly transported from the realm of your office job!

For great family fun, join the fun at the Cape Coral CoCoNut Festival in November or enjoy the Sun Splash Family Waterpark anytime.
